Meet Alex & Scarlet

Alex & Scarlet are a bonded pair of male macaws. They have each other for company yet enjoy human interactions, hanging out and of course causing trouble. Alex is blind in one eye yet it doesn’t affect his ability for anything. Scarlet is the protector and likes who he likes…even if Alex doesn’t agree. They live in a large walk in aviary (can live in a x-large double cage), love toys, love food, love tag teaming when they feel like it. They need a home with a family that understands they like being birds first. They don’t scream and love being around people.

Our adoption process is about multiple visits, we look for a connection between the bird and adopter(s), a home visit is a must.
