Meet Sodapop
Sodapop is approximately 5 years old and has been at Sanctuary One for almost 4 years. This little pig is very smart and food motivated, making him easy and fun to train. He knows his name, comes when called, and sits nicely. Staff has been working to help him feel more comfortable being handled and brushed. Lately Sodapop has been loving his grooming sessions! He's been excitedly coming up to staff looking for scratches and brushing.
Sodapop would thrive with an experienced owner in an adult only home. This handsome boy is looking for a person that truly understands him. Sadly, he was mistreated when he was a piglet which now causes him to sometimes make poor choices when it comes to interacting with people. Sodapop does well with people who are good leaders, patient, and consistent with him.
When his tummy is full, sometimes he will stretch out on his side exposing his adorable pot belly for rubs. Soda lives in a mixed herd at our sanctuary and gets along well with the other members, especially the roosters and our senior sheep, Betty.
