When I saw the face of Boogie, 13, I begged a rescue to take him from the city shelter. After several months of waiting at Bobbi and the Strays, I went to meet him. He was a big cat who acted much younger than his age and I knew I had to adopt him. What a face!
He turned out to be much more than a pretty face, however. He acts more like a dog than any cat I have ever had.
He has more than 30 meows and I hear new ones every week!
He recently was in the NY Daily News in an article about overweight pets because Boogie LOVES to eat! He has the most amazing personality. When he wants to get petted, he will cock his head to the side as if to say "Well, what are you waiting for!" He sleeps with me every night, and each morning he wakes me up in a different way. He even has his own column in my Senior Pets Newsletter! I will never understand why this cat was given up but as luck and fate would have it, Boogie and I found each other!
