Sheldon (aka Kyzer) - A Petfinder Happy Tail

Adopted Dog

Adopted from Missions of Mercy, Hanover, PA.

Sheldon came to us with the name Kyzer. He's a mini-Schnauzer that was less than a year old when we got him in December 2013. He had a pretty rotten lot in life and was saved from an [open admission] shelter situation before being rescued by the incredible Melissa of Missions of Mercy Rescue. I had been thinking about getting a dog, and a friend from work suggested I looked at many dogs, pages and pages of the cutest little guys. Something about Sheldon's photo kept drawing me back. The photos weren't glamorous at all. He was shaggy and dirty in them, but something told me that he was the one. We went to meet him, and it was love a first sight. He had temperament issues and needed some training, all due to the terrible conditions he was rescued from. Melissa did wonders with him as far as his temperament and behavior. We love our Sheldon and couldn't ever picture our life without him. Thank you for saving him so that he could be adopted and come to us! Thank you Missions of Mercy Rescue!
