About nine months ago, my old dog, Denis, died of cancer, which left a big hole in my heart. I told myself that I needed to get another dog who would fill the hole up and become my companion forever! So I asked my friend should I rescue a puppy? She said, "Yeah, rescuing is the best thing a person could do!"
So I looked on Petfinder where I found a male Great Dane-mixed-with-Husky puppy who was called Guy by his previous owners. I called the Good Samaritan Pet Center where they said Guy was a great pup who loves other animals no matter what species they are, so I adopted him and renamed him Montgomery Huffington the Great. But I forgot to tell you -- Monty is a two-legged dog who was born paralyzed in his back legs and was beaten by his previous owners. Today Monty is racing across my farm and, at a glance, you would think he has use of all four legs! Please rescue a dog. Never should you buy a puppy from a pet store. THANK YOU, PETFINDER! You saved us both!
