I've always had a special place in my heart for black and white cats. When I first saw Roxie, I knew I had to meet her even though our apartment didn't allow cats at the time.
Her incredible personality won me over right away, and I desperately wanted to bring her home. Sadly, I began to walk away, and that's when she stuck her paw out of the cage and pulled my hand to her- with her claws in. I looked into her beautiful eyes and knew it was love. No matter what, I would share my life with this cat.
It took two months of negotiating with the apartment management company, and I visited her several times a week at the Petsmart where she was.
Every time I expected to see that she had been adopted, and every time I saw her little face my heart belonged to her a little more.
Finally, the day came that the apartment gave permission, and moments later we were on our way to bring home our new family member.
I may be more than a little biased, but I think she's the most wonderful cat in the world. I have no words to describe the happiness and love she's brought to our home.
