From Nichole & Ch of Federal Way, WA

After saying good bye to our dog Brandy (a sharpei/lab mix) after 16 wonderful years together, we were all feeling the void left behind even the cat. After a few weeks of healing, we logged onto and found Maddi (a german shorthaired pointer) in Long Beach WA. When I read the caption written for her I cried. It said simply that she was waiting for someone to come and say "I'm here for Gertie". We drove three hours to meet her and immediately knew that she was coming home with us. It has been nine months now since that great day when we met Maddi and brought her to her new forever home. We have just begun logging onto again in search of a friend for Maddi. We are so grateful for this great website. It allowed us to find the perfect addition to our family and gave Maddi a better chance of a loving forever home. thanks!
