Trigger - A Petfinder Happy Tail

Trigger - posted 04/30/2012

From Rita of Eaton Rapids, MI

Trigger was found in an abandoned house by animal control. The officer tried to give him a home but he possibly had hip problems as German sheperds are prone to so she brought him to the shelter so he could find a loving family. I saw him on Petfinder after only 1 day. Contacted the shelter on the phone and later that day was on the road to a whole other state to adopt this wonderful guy. When we took him home he was only 66 lbs, had fleas and could not walk without pain for more than a mile or so. After just 2 months he gained weight was pain free and going for daily runs with his owners. Today Trigger is a happy and healthy 85 lbs. Can go for a 5 mile run and want to keep going and has no hip problems to be found. He is a vibrant part of our family and so happy we were able to give him a loving home.
