My 10 year old Golden had died three weeks earlier from cancer and I was devastated. I had lost my best friend and constant companion. I was really missing her when someone suggested I signed up to receive daily alerts. In a couple of weeks Emma appeared. She had been abandoned in the night drop at the Chilton County Humane Society. I immediately new that this was my new dog that had been sent to me by my Angel Megan. I named her Emma which means "one who heals the universe". I drove the hour south to the Shelter, and put in my application. The next three days were a nightmare while I waited to see if I could adopt Emma. Finally on June 23, 2007 I was able to call her mine. We are inseparable, she follows and travels with me everywhere. She was truly a blessing sent to me from God. The picture shows her in June, 2007 and the beautiful dog she has grown into taken in October, 2009.
