*** Letters From Our Adopters ***

Dear Maria,
Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience it has been to adopt my new companion.

After hearing so many horror stories about the stringent requirements of Rescue Societies, I was prepared for the worst. However, it turned out to be a most pleasant experience. You are more interested in pairing dogs with people who truly care. You were honest about any problems the dogs may have and I had a real sense of security in listening to your recommendations. I am totally in love with my companion and welcome the opportunity to spoil him beyond belief. My best wishes for your continued success. Marge

Dear Maria,
As you can see Bogart is doing wonderfully.

He is such a happy pup eager to love and be loved. He has fit in beautifully and we are all crazy about him. (Lacy is working on it...she seems to get a little better each day).
Bogart is eating well, enjoying his barbequed chicken and hamburger as well as his healthy dog food. He's well on his was to putting a little meat on his bones.
We're learning how to put the drops in his eyes and hoping that becomes a little easier.
He will be meeting his aunt, cousins and grandma shortly and will no doubt be spoiled by a little more attention.
Thank you ladies for all you do for these little friends. You are nothing short of amazing. We're so glad to have met you and been able to adopt our little Bogey-Boy.

Dear Maria,
Margaret & I want to thank you again for letting us adopt Pixie from your rescue group.

Though she is a tiny bundle, Pixie has extraordinary personality and spunk and has become a full-fledged member of our family along with our other two Poms. We can't believe that a senior dog like her has such energy & curiosity - in many ways, she is like a puppy. She makes us smile with all her antics.
We also appreciate how smoothly and efficiently you conducted the adoption process. All the information you posted about Pixie on Petfinder or gave to us directly was accurate and complete. You are right in screening adoptive parents and we were glad to provide the necessary information so your could determine that Pixie would be a good match with us. You were helpful and courteous when Margaret went recently to your home with our daughter, Katherin, to meet you and Pixie and to finalize the adoption process.
Most importantly, your tips and other advice about Pixie's feeding, grooming, veterinary care, medications, quirks, etc., have been vital to her easy transition to our household. You obviously have a great deal of valuable knowledge and experience with small dogs. We know how busy you are with your regular work and your caring for your animals. We appreciate your taking the time to give us prompt input in answer to our questions. Pixie certainly found in you a benefactor and friend in Middletown and we feel that now we have too.
You are your rescue group care for and love small animals who have been abandoned or neglected. You are their "guardian angels" who give valuable and under-recognized shelter to dogs who have few people to protect and speak for them. Since we have our hands full with three Poms, we can only imagine how busy and hectic your household is with all the small dogs you care for.
We commend and thank you for your good work and will continue to support it.
Warmest regards, Walter
