SURRENDERING YOUR PET   We understand that sometimes owners are not able to keep a pet. We do our best to accept dogs presented to us on a case by case basis. That always depends on what foster homes we have available and what type of a dog you have. To begin the process of turning over your dog to us, we will need a few items of information first: Age Sex Breed Does he/she get along with cats/dogs/kids? Is he/she housebroken? Is he/she calm, active, outgoing, timid? Is he/she spayed/neutered? Are the vaccinations current? Why are you giving up this pet? Also, please provide a picture of the pet so we can assess what we can do to help. Unfortunately we cannot take every pet that we are asked to take... but even if we can't take your pet, we may be able to refer you to the right place or to list him/her on our Courtesy Listings page
