This site is updated by volunteers and we try to update our animal list at least once a week. Â However, it's harder to keep up with the cats so if you are interested in a cat please call the shelter. (304)643-4721.
We are always happy to hear from rescue groups. Â If you are a group interested in saving some of our animals please email us at rchumane@zoominternet.net and Heather will be happy to help you.
Adoption Policy
Adopting a pet is a simple and inexpensive process at our shelter. Â You must fill out a short adoption form and then pay a small adoption fee. Â Part of the adoption paperwork is promising to get your pet spayed or neutered if not already done. Â
Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dog - spayed or neutered = $200
Dog - non-spayed or neutered = $125
Cat - spayed or neutered pet = $50
Cat - non-spayed or neutered pet = $15
(These fees are subject to change without notice, by breed, or by expenses incurred by that animal.)
