    About Our Pets...

    Most of our pets come from a local kill shelter. We rescue them when their time is up and it's time for them to give up their cage space. Once we pick them up, they go to a foster home to wait for their forever family. They live with our families and our pets and we do not keep them in cages.

    All of our pets are spayed or neutered before adoption or have such certificate to get it done for free.

    All of our cats and kittens must be adopted as strictly indoor! All of our dogs and puppies must be adopted as a housedog only and we do require a secure fenced in yard!

    Wilson Animal Rescue sees countless numbers of wonderful pets euthanized annually because they cannot find homes. While we do our part to place as many pets as possible, it is imperative that everyone spay / neuter their pet. We can provide a voucher for you to get your pet spayed or neutered at one of 5 vets for $25.00*...... *Does not cover additional services, shots, laser, etc or any additional fees the veterinarian may charge.

    Wilson Animal Rescue has worked out a spay/neuter offer with Colerain Animal Hospital, Ft. Wright Pet Care, Highland Heights Animal Hospital, Henehan Animal Hospital, and UCAN. Our $25 voucher program is available to everyone.

    Who We Are...

    We are a non-profit, small group of volunteers who strive to provide assistance for unwanted, lost and neglected animals by providing humane education, veterinary care, animal rescue and by actively encourging pet population control through spay and neuter.

    Adopting a Friend...

    To adopt from us, you must fill out the required on-line application. If you have any questions, you may email us. Our rescues are housed in various foster homes in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. Once we receive your application, we normally respond to you within 48 hours. If we have a good match, you are then invited to come over to the foster home/s and see if this is a forever match. We will ask for a vet reference for cat or dog adoption and we will do a home visit to check the fencing if you are interested in adopting a dog.
