VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS IN NEED! The Westfield Homeless Cat Project has many volunteering opportunities available from cat care to facilitating adoption clinics. If you are interested please contact WHCP's Director, Denise at westfieldhcp@aol.com to discuss the variety of available openings.
FOSTER HOMES URGENTLY NEEDED!! Now more than ever we are in need of families willing to open their home to a cat in need.
Foster care is typically short term -- from a few weeks to a few months. If interested, please e-mail westfieldhcp@aol.com .for more information.
Who We Are:
We are a non- profit 501(c)3 cat rescue completely staffed by volunteers and based in Westfield, MA. We are approved and registered with the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture and all of our cats are rescues that have been abandoned, abused, surrendered, or just simply left to die. The Westfield Homeless Cat Project is a no kill rescue and does not discriminate against age or illness provided that vet care is managable and we will exhaust all means to save our feline friends. PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption clinics are held every Saturday from 11 - 3 pm and every Thursday from 4 - 7 pm at 1124 East Mountain Road, Westfield, MA 01085. . If these days and times do not fit your schedule please let us know. We will make every effort to help you find your newest family member.. Email westfieldhcp@aol.com If you plan on attending please bring a carrier with you and If you are living in a rental property please bring a letter from your landlord stating you can have pets in your apartment. . .
The Westfield Homeless Cat Project relies heavily on monetary donations, which are tax deductible. Additionally, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities and are always in search of loving foster homes as well as donations of cat supplies and tag sale items.
