*WHO ARE WE*

We are a 501(c)(3) Non profit organization, a husband and wife team who take in unwanted labs into our home giving them a safe place to stay until a permanent home can be found. There are no chains, ropes, cages or pet lockers, just an out door area designed with pets in mind. They enjoy dog houses, carpet, pet beds, toys, food, water and of course the thing labs crave the most, Love. Whether their stay here is long or short, each lab is given the best possible care, love and attention that they need and deserve. Our team is devoted to making sure that each lab has the necsssary food, love, medical attention, spay/neuter, vaccines and anything else needed to increase their adoptability and quality of life so they can have a "Second Chance" at life in a loving home that is so deserved.

We will love, nurture and take care of your lab just like one of our own. Being in city limits allows us to have 3 dogs or less at one time. This gives us the chance to give each dog the one on one love, attention and socialization that they need with no over crowding like most shelters. We find that giving them one on one love and attention makes the transition into their new home with their new family a lot easier on the dog and the new owner.

*OUR MISSION*

Our mission is to take in as many unwanted/owner surrender labs that we can and give them a temporary loving home until we can secure them a forever loving home. Simply stated, our mission is to receive any lab that must be surrendered and find them their permanent loving home.

*WHO IS CHANCE?*

Chance was my inspiration for starting Second Chance Lab Rescue. He was our 9 year old lab mix that we adopted from the humane society when he was only 3-months-old. He became a part of our family immediately and was a great dog the entire time. We loved him dearly and we miss him immensely. "Rest in Peace" my sweet boy, you gave us the best 9 years of your life. "forever in my heart, I'll love you always," Mom.

**All donations made to Second Chance go into the Second Chance account, stays in the account and is used for what ever the labs in our care need, i.e., spay/neuter, medical attention, dental, immunizations, hospitalization, medication, vet expenses and food**
