THE BRUTAS FUND

In 1999, a Rottweiler named Brutus was brought in to the shelter with very bad dysplasia at the age of 1 year. Through all the tests, his disposition remained sweet & lovable. The local newspaper did a story because the shelter could not afford to treat him, yet didn't have the heart to put him to sleep. Thanks to that newspaper, the response from people was overwhelming and the Brutus Fund was formed.

Humane Society of Walden, Albany Post Road, Walden, New York 845-778-5115

The fund has been used for all adoptable animals with various medical problems. Now, due to an overwhelming amount of sick animals, the Brutus Fund is in trouble. We have had 4 dogs with heartworm, 2 with Lyme's disease, 2 with Parvo, cats with URI and various other ailments.

We need donations to the Brutus Fund to continue the treatment of animals others no longer can care for. Please mail your contribution to: Humane Society of Walden, Attn: Brutus Fund, PO Box 135, Walden, NY 12586

CREMATIONS

We offer private cremations and urns for your beloved pet. Please call the shelter 845-778-5115 for our current rates and to make arrangements.
