Meet Max..thrown from a vehicle while driving on HWY . Not able to walk correctly , partial brain damage and not able to hear or see correctly. Vom Blue saved him from a Kill shelter in KY and gave him a second chance at life to be loved like he had never known .

Meet Chloe ...we found her sitting on a euth list at an Indiana Shelter because she had Mange..we saw the beauty behind her mange and pulled her into our Rescue Program and got her all better

Meet Chelsea ...a gorgeous 14 yr old rottie girl that was left at a kill shelter by her owners just because she was too old :( Vom Blue rescued her and let her live out her days with us...sadly it wasnt long enough :( But she enjoyed her time here and went to the bridge knowing love and peace

Meet Hope and Baxter ...these 2 along with their 7 siblings where pulled from a kill shelter in MO ..they were in horrible health , emaciated , flea infested , and some horrible person had just recently cut their tails off with hedge trimmers leaving them infected and bones exposed as you can see in Hope's picture below . Sadly 3 of them did not make it but the other 6 we were able to save and they are doing wonderful and growing big !!

With your help we can save even more abused and neglected babies and give them a wonderful new start to life . Thank you for any help and support !!!!!

Adopting One Of Our Rescues

If you have questions about any of our rescues up for adoption please feel free to contact us via email or phone. If you would like to adopt a Vom Blue Rescue Dog please fill out our on-line adoption application and return either via email or postal mail to the addresses provided on this website. Once your application is received we will do reference checks, vet checks and home visits. This is part of the adoption process. We require updates on our rescues once they are placed to make sure they are adjusting in their new home. If for any reason the adoption doesn't work out the dog must be returned to Vom Blue .

Who We Are

Vom Blue Rescue and Adoption is located in Newburgh Indiana ( Evansville Area ) . We founded this rescue 7 years ago with the determination to find and home all the homeless dogs in our area. We concentrate on the Rottweiler Breed but we will take other breeds if we have the space. We do not have a shelter, our rescue is run out of our own home and the homes of our wonderful fosters. Each rescue is treated as one of our very own. We only place dogs with sound temperaments and that we would enjoy owning ourselves. Before our dogs are placed they are temperament tested and vet checked to ensure they are in the best of health. They are also up to date on all vaccinations, fecaled and treated if necessary, heartworm tested ( If old enough ) , put on preventative , micro-chipped , and spayed or neutered. Adoption fees vary for each individual dog .


Our Personal dog is Bodacious "2" , a 3 year old Rottweiler . Bo is a great ambassador for his breed, he is incredibly smart, eager to please and loves everyone and everything. Bo himself is training to become a Search and Rescue K-9 and is VERY good at it so far !!! Soon he will take his CGC test and we are also considering either Herding or Agility for him !
