SPECIAL NEEDS

Jag is a two year old black and white male Cock-a-poo rescued from a horrible puppy mill situation along with is brother, Royce. The perfect home for Jag is one that will show him consistency, patience and lots of love. Jag would be happiest going to a home with another well-socialized dog and a fenced yard. If you think you would be interested in adopting Jag or would consider fostering him, please call (410) 557-6161 for more information.

Our Featured Pet...HONEY BEAR

Honey Bear came to FARM as an owner give up as they were unable to afford or provide her the medical care she needs. She is a very sweet and friendly 12 year old, 13 pound poodle. Honey Bear has diabetes and will require an insulin injection twice a day. Please contact us if you can be an angel for Honey Bear. She is good with kids and walks well on the leash. We are looking for a foster or forever home for her where she can receive the care she needs. She is absolutely adorable.

If you love animals and wish to help, but are unable to adopt at this time, please consider making a charitable contribution. We are a non-profit 501C3 and your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. You may contribute by mailing a check to Fallston Animal Rescue, 2725 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD 21047; making a donation through Paypal below; or donating a vehicle.

Our contributions were down significantly last year due to the economy, but the number of pets we save continues to increase. Your donation will go directly to provide vet care for the animals we save, thus increasing our ability to save more lives. Any donation, big or small, would be appreciated so much! We thank you for thinking of us, Barbara and Greg, and the animals of Fallston Animal Rescue.

A special thanks to Madonna Veterinarian & Staff, Companion Animal Care Center and staff, Best Friends Fur Ever, BowWag Kennels and Danielle Frenchy for helping us with our animals this year. We also want to thank our wonderful volunteers, Barbara, Sally, Kim, Randy, Tami, Lori, Candy, Hannah, Jill, Kristin, and Cara. And, of course, thank you to everyone who has donated to us and/or adopted one of our pets. We couldn't do what we do without you!

Our Mission

The F.A.R.M. was started by Greg and Barbara Bertling to find homes for some of the wonderful, loving pets abandoned, lost or given up and scheduled for euthanasia at area shelters. Thus, FARM means the difference between life and death for the pets rescued.

We provide food, shelter, medical care, behavioral evaluation and affection. We take great care to find responsible, loving, permanent homes for each pet we save.

The FARM has rescued and placed over 8,000 dogs and cats since its beginning in October, 2000.
