YOU CAN HELP SAVE LIVES!!
If you love animals and wish to help, but are unable to adopt at this time, please consider making a charitable contribution. We are a non-profit 501C3 and your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. You may contribute by mailing a check to Fallston Animal Rescue, 2725 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD 21047; making a donation through Paypal below; or donating a vehicle.
Our contributions were down significantly last year due to the economy, but the number of pets we save continues to increase. Your donation will go directly to provide vet care for the animals we save, thus increasing our ability to save more lives.
Fallston Animal Rescue Movement, Inc. (code 68389) is part of the Federal Combined Campaign (both the Chesapeake Area and National) and the Maryland Charity Campaign for State Workers. Please consider donating - every cent goes directly to save animals from being euthanized at local shelters.
Our Featured Pet...JP MORGAN
JP Morgan is an 8 year old male spaniel mix, who was pulled from Animal Control. Poor JP had some medical issues when he arrived. He had a dental, involving extractions, he was born without an ear canal in one of his ears, so he is completely deaf in that ear. He was quite obese when he arrived, but has been on a diet and is slowly losing the excess weight. He had been diagnosed with Lyme disease and came down with pneumonia, but was treated with antibiotics. JP is feeling much, much better and we want to sincerely thank all of you who donated money towards his medical care. He gets along great with other dogs and seems to be a very laid back guy. He is looking for his forever home and he surely deserves it! Please call his foster home at 410-592-3613 if you can provide the much needed home he deserves.
A special thanks to Madonna Veterinarian & Staff, Companion Animal Care Center and staff, Best Friends Fur Ever, BowWag Kennels and Danielle Frenchy for helping us with our animals this year. We also want to thank our wonderful volunteers, Barbara, Sally, Kim, Randy, Tami, Jim, JT, Lori, Candy, Hannah, Jill, Kristin, and Cara. And, of course, thank you to everyone who has donated to us and/or adopted one of our pets. We couldn't do what we do without you!
The F.A.R.M. was started by Greg and Barbara Bertling to find homes for some of the wonderful, loving pets abandoned, lost or given up and scheduled for euthanasia at area shelters. Thus, FARM means the difference between life and death for the pets rescued.
We provide food, shelter, medical care, behavioral evaluation and affection. We take great care to find responsible, loving, permanent homes for each pet we save.
The FARM has rescued and placed over 8,000 dogs and cats since its beginning in October, 2000.
