What does a small black dog have in common with the Emmys? Jacqueline Moody adopted Lenny, a little black lab mix from the Dog Found. A few months later she won two Emmy awards:

Who We Are
THE DOG FOUND street dog rescue and adoption was formally started in 2000. For years we had been rescuing skinny scared dogs from the streets and we realized, these are the dogs that have no one. So it became our mission to give them someone, either an adoptive forever home, or life forever with us.
We have placed around 300 dogs since then and many have loved out their lives with us. All our dogs are indoor/outdoor, so they can learn the ways of life in a family. Our aim is for a perfect fit between the dog and you.
Adopting a friend
All our pets are vetted, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered before going to new homes. An adoption contract and home visit are required. The Dog Found Street Dog Rescue and Adoptions
