If you would like to make a donation, please click on the button above to make a donation on-line using PayPal. Any size donation from $5 on up would be greatly appreciated to help with spaying/neutering, medicine, vaccinations, and supplies. If you want to mail a donation, please look at the "Who We Are" heading.
If you cannot contribute financially, we also collect aluminum cans, tin cans, and printer cartridges for recycling to raise money for the animals. Please contact us to pick up any of these items.
We are currently in need of donations and volunteers to help us build new dog pens and cat shelters. We have one new cat building, one new dog pen, and are working on our second new cat shelter. We also built an adoption center area for the dogs in 2009.
Since we do not euthanize animals to make room for more, we are limited on space. If we cannot take in your pet, we suggest that you put an ad in the American Classifieds (formerly known as the Thrifty Nickel). You can also post pictures on several different web sites. You can e-mail us and ask for our Pet Options List, which will give you these web sites and other options to consider.

On July 15, 2004, we achieved 100 actual homes in 10 months since we started on Petfinder in September 2003.
Since September 2003 we have had 1,538 adoptions (6 kittens, 5 cats, and 8 dogs adopted that are not posted). All animal returns are accepted and placed back on our adoptable list. We also have grown to several foster homes.
February 24, 2004, we had enough generous donations to send 32 male cats through the neuter scooter event in Longview, Texas.
February 22, 2005, and March 1, 2005, we had enough generous donations to send 3 male cats and 42 male cats through the neuter scooter event in Longview, Texas, making a total of 45 male cats neutered.
My husband and I began to actively help animals in February 2000. We achieved our tax exempt status as of August 6, 2003, with five on the board of directors.
We are a definite no kill rescue group. Animals stay with us until they are adopted or pass away. We do not euthanize any animal unless it is severely sick and suffering. If an illness should occur, we do whatever we can to treat the animal. We do not euthanize any animal if we think it is unadoptable as I have heard some rescue groups do.
We have two veterinary clinics that help us, and if you would like to make a tax deductible donation to help us care for these animals, please look at the following:

our account.
We do not have a post office box, so if you would like to write a check to Tonya Griffith's Animal Rescue, Inc., please mail it to the Gresham Veterinary Hospital.
Please click on the name of the animal you are interested in to see who you need to contact about that pet. We operate out of several foster homes. The initials of the foster home are listed before each animal's name. Animals that are in more urgent need of a home are listed with the initial A.
We do not advertise our physical address to prevent people from dropping off animals. We prefer people to call first for help. Dropping off or dumping animals can lead to their death.
