Visit eBay Giving Works to learn more. Who We AreWe are Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions (TRPA). Our small non-profit organization consists entirely of dedicated volunteers. We are based in San Antonio, Texas, but cover the surrounding cities and counties. We participate in adoptions and fostering of previously rescued animals. TRPA is an all breed adoption organization. We also actively participate in adoptable Chow Chow rescue and adoption placement. Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions does not consist of a physical shelter but operates entirely through the use of private foster homes. Please Help. Foster volunteers are always needed for temporary homes for dogs or cats. Download Foster Agreement form.What We DoTejas Rescued Pet Adoptions takes the necessary steps to make a rescued animal ready for adoption into a loving home. The future pet companion is brought to full health in private foster homes. All vaccinations and veterinary care are provided prior to the adoption along with the spay and neuter services. These rescues arrive into our care from many different circumstances requiring various types of care. Donations of money, gift cards, cat and dog food are needed and greatly appreciated. Adopting a friendAn adoption application and contract are necessary. The adoption donation amount depends on certain criteria and varies for each pet. Reduced adoption donations are allowed for multiple pet adoptions. All cats and kittens have been tested negative for feline aids(fiv) / leukemia. All cats and kittens will be dewormed, defleaed, have their rabies vaccination, City License, FVRCP vaccinations and booster vaccinations. Dogs and puppies will be dewormed, defleaed, have their rabies vaccination, City License, Parvo/Distemper vaccinations, booster vaccinations and be on heartworm preventative. Each pet available for adoption has a foster contact number or email address. An appointment may be arranged for a visitation.We'd love for you to come out and see our beautiful foster animals and just maybe, take home a new addition to your family!
