DAISY is a female Am Bulldog mix, about 1 year old. Just looking at her makes you smile - with that cute face and floppy ear. :) She is friendly and seems to like almost everyone. We were told she is good with children and cats - although she may be too big and active for toddlers. She is an energetic girl who would be best suited for an active person/family who can include her in lots of activities. Daisy likes to go for walks and would make a good walking/jogging companion. A fenced yard would be ideal. Daisy could benefit from obedience training, but will learn quickly.
Daisy was not quite sure what to do with her Valentine's Heart hat, but thought if her friend could wear one - so could she! :) Valentine's Day is the holiday of LOVE, and Daisy is looking for someone to love her forever more and a home she can call her very own. She has lots of love to give and is an affectionate and happy girl who likes to give "hugs" and "kisses". Happy Valentine's Day from DAISY and all her friends at the shelter!
"Unlike any other relationship in life, the human-animal bond is a special connection that enhances the quality of life for the person, the animal, and those around them. It's mutual, unconditional love." (American Humane Association)
My name is Spunkey. I am a male DLH. If I look sad, it is because I am sad. I was brought to the shelter when my owner passed. I miss my home and find shelter life very stressful and sad. I try to do the best that I can, but there are some days that are more difficult for me. I need a home with patience and time, for I need both. I hope that I meet you very soon..

The Taunton Animal Shelter is requesting monetary donations towards medical costs for two of our dogs. Both dogs came into our shelter requiring immediate medical attention and surgery. WALKER, a male Min Pin, was found after being hit by a car and needed a pin inserted into his leg. {UPDATE 12/11: Unfortunately, after several surgeries, it was decided that due to the fact his leg was shattered and not healing correctly - that he needed his leg amputated. He is recuperating well from the amputation, and his Foster Mom said he is getting around well on 3 legs - even going up stairs! He is getting lots of TLC in his foster home - which, we are sure, has helped him through all his surgeries and is helping him with his recuperation.} GULLIVER, a male Pekingese, was found with a dislocated eye which had to be surgically removed. He, too, went into a foster home and, happily, will be getting adopted by his Foster Dad - who fell right in love with him! If you would like to contribute towards their medical bills, please send your donation to the Taunton Animal Shelter, 821 W Water St, Taunton, MA 02780 and please note on your check that your donation is for Walker and/or Gulliver. Thank You! {UPDATE 12/25: What a special "gift" Walker received this week - he, too, was adopted!} Both Gulliver and Walker are now in their new homes and celebrated the holidays with their new families!
