LUV YOUR PETS BOUTIQUE has now re-opened on the upper level near Macy's located in Hawthorn Mall on the corner of Route 60 (Townline Road) and Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) in Vernon Hills.

Many thanks to all who have donated and volunteered! Your valuable time and hard earned ca$h allows us to continue the work we do for homeless pets and Tails of Hope. Without your contributions we would cease to exist.
On going donations are needed as we are contacted daily regarding cats and dogs in need of rescue. Remember, we are an ALL VOLUNTEER organization in need of FOSTER HOMES. Please foster a dog or cat... you will save lives. Or send monetary donations to Tails of Hope, PO Box 7554, Gurnee, IL 60031. Who We Are:
Tails of Hope is a not for profit, all volunteer organization based in Lake County, IL. We were established in 2002 in an effort to help terminally ill or assisted living candidates place their pets through foster care or adoption, but we also work with local facilities to place animals that may otherwise be euthanized.
Stay tuned for more adopt-a-thons at Luv Your Pets Boutique and PetsMart in Gurnee. We are very fortunate to
be able to use the PetsMart adoption center for our cats and kittens. Though in our future we would love to have a facility of our own.
Many of our pets are in foster homes, which allows us to better evaluate and determine what kind of home is best for them. Our organization requires a home visit for placement of our dogs and applicants must live within a 25 mile radius of Gurnee, IL. Please remember we are all volunteers and work very hard to do what is in the best interest of each pet, and we always welcome new volunteers!
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are all volunteer and are always looking for people to contribute their special talents. Allergies holding you back? We have opportunities that don't involve direct contact with the pets. Fundraising, computer tech stuff, letter writing, follow up calls and the list goes on. If you think fostering may be a possibility please call. It is very rewarding and you are saving lives.
