FOSTER HOMES NEEDED
We are in urgent need of foster homes for cats, dogs and small animals. If you are interested in helping unwanted pets in your home on a temporary basis, our Foster Program may be right for you! Foster homes are needed to act as a stepping stone for our animals before they are placed in a permenant loving home through adoption. We provide all of the food and medical expenses, and foster homes provide the love, care and guidance.
If you are unable to foster an animal in your home, we do have many other volunteer opportunities available. Join the fun and meet other animal lovers like yourself!

WHO WE ARE
We are a non-profit, all volunteer animal rescue organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted, abandoned and stray domestic cats and dogs. We also will take in guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, etc. We do not have any paid staff and do not receive any government funding. We do not have a shelter building, and all of our pets are housed in foster care.

RescuePetStore.Com is operated to help support animal rescue organizations of all types and breeds by selling a quality product at a fair price. A portion of the sale is contributed to the rescue organization of your choice. The contribution is sent in your name.
CASH FOR CRITTERS
Don't throw away empty ink jet and laser cartidges. Send them to Southwest Metro to help us earn money for the homeless pets. Empty ink jets and lasers can be recycled and re-used. It's good for the environment too! So ask your friends, relatives and neighbors to save their empties too! For more information on our Cartridge Collection Program call 952-368-PAWS (7297) ext 3. NOTE**We are unable to turn in Epson brand.
ADOPTING A FRIEND
Because our animals are housed in foster homes, we get to know each animal very well, and this enables us to find a suitable match for each pet. We feel that our Foster Program is beneficial to the adoptive family because they are provided with a personality profile of each pet. This gives them the advantage of learning the needs of the animal before taking the big step of adoption.
All of our pets are spayed or neutered if over 6 months old, updated on all vaccinations, have a microchip ID implant, are tested for parasites, cats tested for feline leukemia, and dogs tested for heartworm (with preventative given).
If you would like to meet the pets available for adoption, you may attend our upcoming Pet Adoption Day, or arrange to meet the pets at the foster homes. If planning on attending an Adoption Day, please call ahead to see which animals will be attending. We also house cats and kittens at PETsMART in Eden Prairie and Maple Grove.
We do not do any out of state adoptions.

Since we don't have a shelter building, our phone system is voice mail. You may place a call to us 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. A representative will return your call.
