On average we spend well over our adoption fee for each pet in our care. All pets adopted from Sunny Meadows will be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested appropriately and verified negative (i.e. heartworm test or FIV/FeLV combo test)
The adoption fee goes towards a mere portion of our expenses incurred. Many of our rescues arrive to us in critical need of costly medical procedures; heart worm treatment, orthopedic surgery, and ophthalmologic surgery- just to name a few. Many rescued pets need behavior modification, and socialization skills. We go to great lengths to ensure the health, and well being of each of our pets.
