Volunteer Organization ♥ Supported by Donations

Friends of the Pound is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working in cooperation with the Stark County dog warden's staff. Our goal is to significantly enhance the quality of life for the homeless puppies, and dogs and increase their opportunities for placement through adoptions or rescue groups.

We have created a website for those interested in adopting, rescuing, and/or sponsoring dogs at the pound. Volunteers, donations, wish list items are always welcomed and needed. Donate a Kuranda Dog Bed to the Pound

We've been trying so hard to keep up with repairing our homemade beds to no avail. Please help the dogs at the pound by genereously donating a Kuranda Dog Bed! The Kuranda Dog Beds are Chewproof, Orthopedic, Durable, and Easy to Clean. With the winter coming we are hoping to have enough Kuranda Dog Bed to make sure the dogs do not have to sleep on the cold cement floors.
