Dilbert! He's such a big goof-ball...and so lovable.
Dilbert is a typical 10-14 month-old adolescent with
lots of energy and play drive. Dilbert was found as a
stray, and when no one claimed him, was brought to the
vet for his neuter surgery and vaccinations. He likes to
please, and will sit for a snack. We think Dilbert will
do well in a home with no cats or small dogs, and with
children over 10 years of age. Come in and meet Dilbert
in person, or call or email Corrina at the shelter for
more info. .
Introducing Miss FiFi LaRue
(our longest resident kitty)
Beautiful, young, Fifi La Rue
had a promising career as one of
the youngest stars ever with the
Follies Bergere. But a night of
torrid passion with lead male
star, Pierre, left her with
kittens and she had to leave the
spotlight in shame. She spent
her pregnancy at a home for
pregnant teenage cats (foster
home). Even though young and
inexperienced she raised five
healthy kittens who have since
left home for careers (new
homes) of their own.
Her heart has been broken as her
Pierre has already taken up with
a new protege (unspayed female)
so she has decided to abandon
her career. But yet, she still
sings and chirps and dances the
days away, first in a halfway
home (another foster home) and
now at a temporary boarding
facility (SRAS
). She longs to become a star
again in someone's home. She
will sing and chirp for you and
tell you all about her time on
the stage. And she loves to
dance and will run from one end
of your home to the other
showing you her high kick
ability. As she is used to
living on the road with lots of
other singers and dancers, she
would love to be able to share
her home with another cat or
two. Solo dancing is fun, but
nothing beats a good line dance
with others.
Do you have a place in your home
for this young star? She would
love to share her spotlight with
you.
Fifi LaRue is
up-to-date with routine shots, house
trained and spayed/neutered

Since the summer months, we've been overflowing
with cats and kittens and the shelter can use foster
help almost on a constant basis. The need is urgent, so
If you have a small spare room or any space that you
could temporarily care for a litter, an adult, or a cat
who has to recover from some sniffles, please contact
us! The cats will do better in a home environment and be
ready for adoption faster than wallowing in a cage
waiting for a space to open up in the adoption room. It
can be a very rewarding experience. If you would like to
foster please call 908-725-0308 or email srasmanager@aol.com
