Silent Angels is now in our eighth year in operation. We are so grateful for Petfinder, which is helping us to find new homes for so many of our animals. Petfinder provides a wonderful service for both shelters and potential adopters! We have added an outdoor cattery. And our latest addition is new indoor cat showcase room. Cat lovers will want to come take a look!
Who We Are
Silent Angels is a No-Kill shelter. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation and all donations are tax-deductible. All donations go directly to benefit the animals. Food and veterinary care are constant needs, and facility upgrades are ongoing. If you would like to become part of the team, call or e-mail us and request the latest newsletter and supply list. Adopting a friend
The cat adoption fee has been reduced to $25 from $80 until the end of 2009. We really need to find homes for as many of our "favored felines" as possible. In addition, we will waive the cat adoption fee for senior citizens. Dog adoption fee is $100. This includes spay/neuter, vet check, and current on all vaccinations and parasite control. We add more dogs and cats to our pet list as soon as they become available. Check back often for updates. Remember, when you adopt a pet from a shelter it's like saving two! You're making room for the next one to come in. Our ultimate goal is to find permanent, forever homes for these wonderful animals where they will be cherished and loved for the rest of their lives.
Come Visit Us!
You are welcome to visit our adoptable pets just about any time during normal business hours 11 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. Drive west from Leoti, Kansas on Hwy 96 ten miles to Road 3 (just east of the Selkirk grain elevator). Then north six miles on Road 3 to Road "J". Then 3/4 mile east on Road "J". You may also visit at other times by calling to schedule an appointment.
