The Siberian Husky Club of Greater New York Inc., was established in 1969.
We are a 501 (c) (3 ) non for profit organization serving the Long Island area. We are a dedicated Siberian Husky rescue and referral group. Our main concern are the shelter animals, getting them rescued and adopted out to great homes.
The Siberian Husky Club of Greater New York, Inc. cannot guarantee the precise temperament of any animal companion listed on this web site, and is not legally responsible for that companion's behavior that could result in any injury to a human being or other animals, or to any damage to personal property of any individual.
Adopting a friend
Please contact us if you are interested in adopting or even fostering. We are DESPERATELY seeking volunteers willing to foster or to help us with our rescue organization.

We want to inform the general public about the breed to make sure it is the right match for you and your lifestyle.
A home visit, adoption donation and references are a requirement for adoptions. A fenced in yard of at least 5' tall is a must.
The adoption fee ranges from $150-$300 depending on the age of the dog. The fee includes neutering or spaying, routine shots and microchipping.
You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from our organization. We require a landlord's approval inn writing if you rent.
