Pet of the Month
Bearnard is a very sweet dog, who is 5 years old. He loves attention and is very smart. He knows lots of commands like sit, stay, and lie down. He likes to play ball and run around with toys. Bearnard doesn't get along with other animals, so he would need to be an only pet, but with such a great dog, who would need another one? He is great with kids and very gentle. He is house trained and affectionate. Won't someone take him home?

Who We Are
Second Chance for Homeless Pets is a no-kill, non-profit animal rescue. We get most of our pets from the shelters, when they run low on space. We have a facility located in Murray at 200 E. Gordon Lane (4180 S.) Our regular business hours are 5:30-7:30pm Monday, 9-11am / 5:30-7:30pm Tuesday-Friday. 9-11am Saturday-Sunday. Adoptions can be done outside of those hours by appointment. Adopting a friend
Adoption fees average $95-$150 for dogs/puppies, $65-$75 for Cats/kittens. All adoptions include the spay/neuter, vaccinations (first shots), deworming and a bag of Science Diet. Our regular business hours are 5:30-7:30pm Monday, 9-11am / 5:30-7:30pm Tuesday-Friday. 9-11am Saturday-Sunday. Adoptions can be done outside of those hours by appointment.
