Who We Are

We are a non-profit Private Rescue who Specializes in Small Dogs and Animals but will take in just about anything if we have the room. We currently even have 3 horses. We are a family run organization and thus really take pride in placing our animals in the right homes and making sure it is the right match for the family.

Disclaimer

We are a private FAMILY OPERATED Non-Profit Animal Rescue- THE ANIMALS ARE IN A HOME SETTING - WE ARE NOT SET UP LIKE THE LOCAL SHELTER THAT YOU MAY VISIT.
We are a no kill organization. We are a small group with no external financial support except donations and private donors.
WE RELY ON THE DONATION FEES / OTHER DONATIONS TO COVER OUR EXPENSES - SUCH AS VACCINATIONS, FOOD, VETERINARIAN COSTS, MEDICATIONS, MICROCHIPS, SPAY/NEUTER, FLEA CONTROL, HOUSING, BEDDING, BLANKETS, TOWELS, COLLARS, LEASHES, CLEANING SUPPLIES, TRANSPORTATION COSTS - INCLUDING GASOLINE, VEHICLE MAINTENANCE, PRINTING COSTS, GETTING ANIMALS OUT OF THE SHELTER (THEY ARE NOT FREE - THERE ARE EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH GETTING THEM OUT OF THE SHELTER), EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE TRIP TO THE COMMERCIAL KENNEL AUCTIONS / COSTS FOR DOGS.
We do our best to provide a healthy animal for your new family, if an animal appears potentially to be ill at the time of adoption we will either not adopt at that time or if being treated will provide you with medication at the time of the adoption. At the time of the adoption, it is always the choice of the adopter to adopt or not to adopt. We DO NOT intentionally adopt out any ill animals.
The young puppies and kittens are very challenging for anyone - like a young child - they can become ill and worsen very quickly. Frequently the stress of a new environment can negatively impact a case in which the animal appears to be fairly healthy. We do the best we can to ensure a smooth transition but unfortunately we cannot promise that an animal will not be impacted. We invest time and emotion into the well being of these wonderful beings and do not wish to see any of them ill or suffer. All our animals are animals are cared for by our Vet upon first site of illness.

Adopting a friend

We require an Adoption Application and then a contract to be filled out completly at time of adoption. This includes a spay/nueter contract if it is not done through us. This very rare and usually only pertains to puppies, kittens, or ill animals. We do offer a lower cost through our local vet for local adoptions. Our goal is to place these animals with the best family that they are both compatible. This means not only is the animal happy but so is the family. We may also require a home visit for special need animals or certain other circumstances and we reserve the right to turn away anyone for refusing a home visit upon request.

Come Visit Us!

WE REQUIRE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETELY FILLED OUT AND APPROVED BEFORE SCHEDULING A VISIT WITH ANY OR OUR ANIMALS!! PLEASE EMAIL TO REQUEST AN ADOPTION APPLICATION .
Please email or call for any information. We usually have a waiting list.. When a dog comes in that we feel will fit in with a family or is what they are looking for then we contact them and try to make both parties (the animal and the adoptees) happy.
