Stanly County Animal Rescue League
Our featured pet is CORKY!!
If 'Corky' were suddenly to morph to a man, we visualize a corduroy-clad professor with elbow patches, clenching a tobacco-free pipe....a cat of great depth....16 mo. old gray mackerel tabby neutered male....adaptable to every situation...excellent with other pets, children, a true Renaissance feline, fostered at 704-463-1164 or 704-985-2917. Corky is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
Who We Are
The Stanly County Animal Rescue League is a 50l(c)3 organization,
run totally by volunteers, who foster abandoned puppies and kittens
in their homes. All pets have age-appropriate immunizations and
are spayed or neutered before being available for adoption.
Contact foster homes by phone to meet these pets or attend our Adopt-A-Pets events.
See our newsletter for Adopt-a-Pet times & locations. It may be viewed at
http://www.stanlycountyanimalrescueleague.com
An adoption fee of $50 applies.
Foster pets are listed in Thursday's edition of the Stanly News and
Press and a pet is featured in the Tuesday Weekly Post.
Adopting a friend
Pets are fostered in individual homes, usually one at a time. Contact
the foster home of a pet you're interested in by phoning the telephone
number given with each pet.
Each foster home will conduct an interview by phone; and, if both
parties are satisfied, prospective adoptive families can meet the
pet at the convenience of the foster home and the caller.
Come Visit Us!
All pets are in foster homes. The Saturday Adopt-A-Pets are excellent venues to meet many of the pets at one time. Please see above for locations and times.
