If you are interested in adopting one of our available dogs, first complete an adoption application which you can request from
savingsaintsrescue@att.net Your application will be screened thoroughly to ensure the best homes possible for our rescued dogs. A home visit
will also be required and done with the dog to see where the animal will be living and how it adjusts to the members of your household. Most of our dogs are groomed, spayed/neutered, heart worm tested negative, current on vaccinations and kept current on monthly heart worm and flea prevention. If you are renting your home, we will be calling your landlord, so please verify it is ok to have the pet before applying. We will also be calling your veterinarian for a reference so make sure your current pets are up to date on everything. If you are interested in adopting, please email us for an application. We reserve the right to deny any application.
There is no cost to surrender your pet to Saving Saints Rescue, however donations are appreciated. We understand there are many different circumstances life can throw at you and want you to be assured your pet will be loved and cared for either in our home or one of our approved foster homes and treated like a member of our family. We will do our best to ensure they go to a loving and wonderful forever home where they will live the rest of their lives surrounded with love.
**If you need to surrender your Saint Bernard, please do not just drop it off or tie it outside our home. It is very important for us to have as much information as possible on your pet so that we can match them with the right family. No one here at Saving Saints Rescue is going to judge you for surrendering your pet, you are doing the right thing by seeking a rescue to help

Of course we are always looking for qualified foster homes for the temporary housing of Saints, as well as other breeds large and small until they are adopted. We do all the running and vetting all you are required to do is provide a loving home until adoption, if interested please contact us for an application.
Saving Saint's Rescue, Inc. is a Michigan non-profit Saint Bernard rescue group servicing Michigan and surrounding states. We are dedicated to saving the lives of Saint Bernard's, rehabilitating them then finding them forever homes where they can spend the rest of their years being a loved member of a family. Most of our Saints come from shelters or are surrendered by their previous owners who could not keep them. We are a Saint Bernard rescue, however when the need arises we do rescue other breeds as well. If you are looking to adopt a dog of another breed we will be happy to check with our many contacts throughout several states for you -especially if it saves a life. All of our rescued pets are cared for indoors, in a loving family environment while they wait for their new homes. They are all tested for temperment and children, cats and dogs before adoption. We only adopt our Saints to be loving members of your family - WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OUTDOOR DOGS, if you are looking for an outdoor
pet, please do not apply.

We are not a kennel facility, all animals are kept in private foster homes. We require approved applications before meeting the animals and all meetings will require an appointment.
