*ADOPTION EVENTS*
Adoption Days held every other Saturday at Macon,GA PetsMart from 10-3pm. Please call 478-994-3882 (info line) or email for our monthly schedule or to ask to be added to our Events Email or volunteer. Anyday with the dogs is a great day! Adoption Coordinator/ Co-President Dawn Kennedy 478-808-9472. Our adoption fee is $100.00/dog. This includes spay/neuter, micro-chip,current on all shots, & heartworm negative. We require a fenced yard for most of our dogs & would like for them to share the home w/ their adoptive family. We want the dog's FOREVER HOME to be the best that it can be. Save A Pet Inc needs donations for
Heartworm Treatments And Veterinary Bills.
We also need volunteers to help with feeding the
dogs and cleaning the kennels.


Who We Are and Our Mission:

Save A Pet Inc. rescues animals from the county pound and shelters them until a more suitable permanent home is found. Save A Pet Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Georgia corporation and is not funded by federal, state or local funds. All donations are tax deductible and are spent on the care and up keep of pets. We can only take dogs from the pound if we have room for them. When we make an adoption, we can then take another dog from the pound.
When we don't have room, many adoptable dogs are put to sleep by our county. We need more people to staff our kennel and the funds to pay them. We also need money to build runs so our dogs can get out and exercise. We also need donations of your time if you can spare it. Please Volunteer!
Our Mission is to find loving homes for our dogs where they will be able to receive attention and good care. We want them to be exercised and never tethered. A life on the end of a rope is no life for a dog. We desire to someday be able to take surrenders and assist other counties but currently we are unable to save every dog that comes into our County Pound. With fundraising and increased awareness of reduing the pet population, we hope to make a bigger impact in the Middle Georgia Area.
