It is the mission of The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center, Inc. to place homeless animals from the Greater Milwaukee Area into loving, permanent homes as well as to provide community outreach programs in order to secure a better future for all companion animals.

Events: Become a friend of The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center! Your one-year donation ($45/individual; $60 family) will pay for the basic medical care of one cat or dog in our program. Friends of The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center will receive a Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center t-shirt (2 t-shirts with family membership!), a window cling, 10% off adoption fees, discounts at participating businesses, your name on our donor wall in the adoption center and on the web site, and the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting the care of homeless pets.

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center is located on the upper level in Southridge Mall. The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon-7, Saturdays from noon-4 and Sundays from noon-6 or by appointment.

All of our adoptable dogs are cared for in volunteer foster homes where they are enjoying life and learning new skills in preparation for their forever homes.

Please contact The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center to set up an appointment with the foster family to meet a specific dog.

Santa pet pictures in center court of Southridge Mall on November 29th from 4-7 PM.

Our annual Tom Werowinski Food Drive is January 30th from 12-4 PM.

You can find us at the Great Lakes Pet Expo at State Fair park on February 6th from 10-6.

Our super fun "Spayghetti and No Balls" Ball at the Italian Community Center is April 16th.

And our Bowlathon at Bowlero is June 26th noon-3!
