Friends of Sac City Shelter Animals Inc.
is a non-profit organization devoted to finding loving, caring, permanent homes
for the wonderful animals at the Sacramento City Shelter. More than 5,000 dogs
and 3,400 cats are killed each year at the City Shelter. Because of this unfortunate
situation, this group of concerned citizens organized to assist the animals
that end up at this facility through no fault of their own.
Our dogs and cats are in foster homes or being kenneled. We have adoption events for cats only at Pets To Go, 9098 Laguna Main St., Suite 5, Elk Grove on the first and third Sundays from 12 PM to 2PM. Our foster animals can also be seen in their homes by getting in touch with their foster parent - send an e-mail or call if you would like to meet an animal.
