Russell Rescue, Inc. of Texas is a network of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and rehoming homeless jack russell terriers. All our dogs are in foster homes in all areas of Texas.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please submit an adoption application at www.russellrescue.com. The adoption fee is $200.00. All Jacks are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and on a heartworm preventative. Every adopter must sign a contract agreeing that they will provide good care for the dog.
"My name is Monty! I graduated from Triple Crown Training Academy. I am an educated little boy." Monty is about 2 years old. He is fully vetted and neutered. Monty is puppy pad trained, but prefers outside. He is crate trained, and will go in and be quiet for night time. He is people oriented and will yelp and howl if he is away from you and has no other dogs for company. He knows the following commands, some better than others: sit/stay shake fetch go lay down (shhhhhh...) speak want a treat? dance! (for a treat) Excuse me!? (when he has erred in his ways) Loves peanut butter and crackers, laps, and fluffy toys. He is very playful. Monty would be a great companion for just about anyone . He gets along well with the other rescued JRs at my house. He will bolt a door like most JRs, but he does not jump fences. Monty does not like loud noises or voices. We have a large number of rescue dogs in need because of the economy. All donations are appreciated.
