Russell Rescue, Inc. of Texas is a network of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and rehoming homeless jack russell terriers. All our dogs are in foster homes in all areas of Texas.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application at www.russellrescue.com. The adoption fee is $200.00. All Jacks are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and on a heartworm preventative. Every adopter must sign a contract agreeing that they will provide good care for the dog.
"Trouble is my name and it sure seems to fit me. I have had a rough life from all accounts, a nice young lady saw me and took me to a vet and then started looking for help for me. I was covered in fleas and dirty and apparently hit by a car. My backend doesn't seem to work well. I heard Mom say I needed surgery or maybe two and I needed to be "fixed" not sure I like the sound of that. She said that I am a very loving little boy and really sweet. My pelvis is broken and fractured and I need a lot of tlc. Mom is trying to get me the needed care. I am a good boy. I'm pretty quiet except for when I need to go potty or I'm in pain and then I only whimper. I try to be quiet and snuggle as much as possible. It's nice being in a house and getting meals.
