About Us

Richardson Rescue, located in York, SC, is a non-profit animal adoption agency dedicated to preserving the sanctity of animal life. While trying to find a forever home for every pet that comes to us, we strive to give owners a better education on pet care, and prevent pet neglect/abuse.

We get no federal or state funding and are donation driven. This means that the only way we can care for the animals that come to us in need is with the help of people like yourself. Please make your donation today to help with all our homeless pets.

If you would like to donate cash click on our pay pal link below. However, we also need many different items such as: Dog houses, old blankets/sheets/towels, old small rugs, dog food, treats, toys, paper towels, laundry detergent, cleaners, 55 gallon trash bags, pools, patio umbrella's and much more. Call us at 803-684-6865 or stop by if you would like to make a donation! We NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE THESE PETS.

Step 3: We will call you to discuss adoption and set up an appointment for you to visit our rescue!

There's always a lot of work to do here at Richardson Rescue. Right now we are in need of volunteers for the office, handymen, outside help, and also someone who would like to volunteer to update a web page for The Committee For Responsible Pet Owners. If you would like to help out in the office or with the web page, please contact Janet Richardson at 803-684-6865 or RichardsonRescue@aol.com. If you would like to volunteer outside and work with the animals at the rescue, please contact Tammy Ramsey at the same number. The volunteer work that you do here will not only be greatly appretiated by the animals, but it's sure to put a smile on your face as well. Please let us know if you'd be interested in volunteering at our rescue.
