Welcome to Recycled Rovers and Friends. We are a small, volunteer only, no-kill animal rescue in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. Our mission is to rescue lost, abandoned and homeless pets and to try to find them good homes, while educating the general public of the importance for our community of spay and neutering all pets. |

We have been kennel residents for over one year. Waiting for the right people to come along and take us home. We are still waiting and haven't given up. The picture on the left is me, Tiger and to the right is my best friend Baby. Please come by and see us. It gets a little lonely a the rescue sometimes, but we will always have eachother. We'd love for someone to give us the opportunity for us to share our experiences with. |

WHEN YOU ADOPT ONE OF OUR PETS: If You wish to adopt one of our dogs, a secured, fenced yard is required. If you adopt one of our cats, we prefer that you keep him/her inside and that you do not de-claw. All of our pets must be spayed or neutered. It is a state law that rescued pets be spayed or neutered. Millions of pets are killed each year because there are not enough homes for homeless pets. Pets that have been spayed or neutered are much healthier. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, please return our beloved pet to us. Adoption fees: $75-Males, $85-Females, these fees include spay/neuter procedure and up to date on vaccinations. |

Volunteers to help with the Adoption process at PetsMart on Saturdays in McAllen, are desperately needed. Volunteers also needed to make follow up calls with adopters. We have many loving, affectionate cats and dogs who are looking for you, their forever home. Please understand most of these pets have spent many months, if not longer, in a shelte or other stressed situation. Your new pet may be wary and unsocialized. Life in a shelter environment is not like a home and, if you adopt one of our beloved pets, you need to expect a period of time for them to become accustomed to the fact that they have a real home. But once they do realize that they are home, you could find life with one of our dogs or cats to be extremely rewarding and gratifying.

Recycled Rovers y los Amigos reciclados es un pequeño rescate de animal privado localizó en Alamo, TX. Somos todos voluntarios. Nuestra misión es de rescatar mascotas perdidas, abandonadas y sin hogar en el Valle del Rio Grande y cuidados hasta que nosotras les podamos encontrar un hogar permanente. CUANDO USTED ADOPTA UNA DE NUESTROS MASCOTAS: Hay un cobro de la adopción que cubre la mayor parte de los costos de veterinario para la mascota. Este cobro de la adopción varía, dependiendo del tratamiento que la mascota ha recibido del veterinario. Si usted desea adoptar uno de nuestros perros, una yarda asegurada y cercada es requerida. Si usted adopta uno de nuestros gatos, nosotros preferimos que usted mantenga a él/ella dentro de su hogar y que usted no arranquelas uñas del gato. Todas las mascotas deben ser esterilizados o deben ser castrados. Es una ley del estado que las mascotas rescatadas seán esterilizadas o castrados. Millón es de mascotas son matadas cada año porque no hay suficientes hogares para mascotas sin hogar. Los mascotas que han sido esterilizadas o han sido castrado son mucho más sanos.
