A Rescuer's Creed
I shall be a believer of all that is good in man

WHO
WE ARE
We are a family of animal lovers who have chosen the mission of saving unwanted and homeless dogs. We take them into our homes and help them to become happy and active members of a family lifestyle. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, have been heartworm tested and treated if needed. Other medical issues are addressed as well. Most are crate trained when they move onto their new homes. Our pets are only adopted to homes that will welcome them to be "inside" family members and not condemned to a life of loneliness outside. All of our pets will require an interview, a vet reference and home visit to help insure we are finding them the best home possible. If no vet reference, adopter will be required to provide personal references and possibly meet additional requirements.
ADOPTING A FRIEND
We require an interview, vet reference and a home visit. We comply with the Tennessee Mandatory Spay/Neuter Act for adoptable pets--all animals must be spayed/neutered within 30 days of attaining 6 months of age. Rainbow Ridge can offer information on low cost spay/neuter programs available in the area--all of our pets are spayed/neutered even pups-as we are an advocate for pediatric sterilization which as been sanctioned by the American Veterinary Medical Association for 10 + years.
