Who We Are
Our mission is to rescue orphaned puppies, kittens and nursing litters from the streets, shelters or other life-threatening situations and match them with permanent adoptive homes, and to provide support and education to these adopters and the community at large. We will work with other community rescue efforts to promote spay/neuter, adoption and humane animal care to ultimately reduce the number of animals euthanized in Houston and surrounding areas.
All of our animals are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and on heartworm preventative. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Please consider becoming a foster parent and opening your home to a dog or cat in need. Go to www.pupsquad.org for more information about becoming a foster parent.
Adopting a friend
Pup Squad Animal Rescue works hard to find the perfect home for all the dogs and cats in our care. Our adoption process is as follows:
1) All applicants must complete an Adoption Application first. Go to www.pupsquad.org and click on "Applications" (top right corner in red) to download the form in either Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat. Save it to your computer, fill it out, and then email it to the contact person listed for the puppy you are interested in.
2) After receiving your application, we will contact you to discuss your current situation and which pet you are interested in adopting.
3) After discussion, we will determine if we think this could be a potential good match. If so, we can arrange a time for you to meet your prospective new family member.
4) Upon agreement by all parties, sign adoption contract and pay the adoption fee for your newest family member. The adoption fee is $95. This includes vaccinations, surgery for spay/neuter, and microchipping of each animal.
DONATIONS
Donations to help with necessary vet care are GREATLY appreciated. The adoption fee rarely covers all the expenses needed to care for one animal. Donations can be make by credit card or PayPal by clicking on the above “donate” button. Or they can be made by sending a check payable to Pup Squad Animal Rescue to the address below. All contributions are tax deductible! Thanks!
