PPAWSS is a group of local, concerned animal lovers that would like to make a difference in our community by lowering the number of dogs and cats being euthanized needlessly at local Animal Shelters. One mission is to continue to help Euthanizing Shelters increase adoptions and lower the number of adoptable pets being euthanized by rescuing when possible and increasing the awareness of Adoption. We will continue to inform the community about the urgency of spaying and neutering pets. Our goal is to build a shelter and we will be able to rescue even more dogs and cats scheduled to be euthanized at euthanizing shelters. We cannot build a shelter without your help and financial support. The HSUS estimates that 3 to 4 million dogs and cats are euthanized at shelters each year. As animal lovers, this has alarmed us and pushed us to take action. If we all work together, we can make a difference. |

Adoption fees for all dogs include: Spay/Neuter Surgery, Full set of Vaccinations, Heartworm Test, Frontline, 24 Petwatch Microchip, Heartworm Treatment if they are Heartworm Positive, and a one year supply of Heartworm Preventative. Adoption Fee for cats include Spay/Neuter surgery, full set of vaccinations, and Fiv/FeLuk Test. After completing our adoption application, we will schedule a meeting for you, any children in the household, and any other pets that will interact with the addition to your family on a daily basis. After PPAWSS feels confident that the chosen pet is perfect for you, you can then take your friend to their 'fur-ever' home!!! **PPAWSS requires you to drive to Sulphur Springs to meet your new friend.** |

We receive all of our animals from shelters. We are not taking in strays or owner surrenders at this time due to limited space. We do offer a Temporary Foster and Surrender Program. Please email all of the information about your pet along with pictures to ppawss@hotmail.com |
