Looking for a particular dog, puppy, cat, or kitten to add to your family? Add your name to our Wish List by completing a dog or cat application above. Type "wishlist" for name of pet. Include breed, color, weight limit, and any other information about the pet you are looking for in the comments section of the application. Completing an application as a wishlist request helps us to match the right dog or cat with your home by letting us know if there will be other animals in the home, children, work schedule etc., since some of our rescues require a certain environment based on their history. * * * SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program)* * *

Because all of our animals are housed in volunteer foster homes, it will be necessary for you to receive directions from the foster parent once an initial contact is made. All of our foster parents reside in the Greater New Orleans area.

Pet Adoption Services, Inc. is a non-profit all breed cat and dog rescue organization in New Orleans.
Supported by all-volunteer members, Pet Adoption Services was founded in 1996, although some of our members have been involved in rescue for as long as 20 years. Our mission is to secure loving permanent homes for homeless, abandoned or abused cats and dogs of all breeds. While awaiting adoption, our animals live in the home of one of our foster parents. During this time the animals receive any necessary veterinary care, including but not limited to, vaccinations, spaying or neutering and perhaps heartworm treatment. Our experienced foster parents continually assess each pet's personality and temperament allowing us to place adoptable cats and dogs in just the right permanent home. Pet Adoption
Services participates in adoption days during which time, potential adopters get the opportunity to meet and spend time with the animals in a "real life" situation Pet Adoption Services holds several fundraisers throughout the calendar year so that we can continue to meet
the needs of homeless animals. Generous donations by persons committed to the cause of animal rescue are also essential to our economic survival.

Donations
