Hooray For Our Long Timers! |
Pet Adoption Fund is the largest Non-Profit No-Kill animal rescue organization in Southern California; founded in 1983. We are staffed primarily by volunteers, and exist solely on donations. Our mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving permanent homes for the many wonderful, yet previously abandoned, neglected or abused companion animals. On the average, our facility houses around 175 dogs and 75 cats, of all sizes, ages and breeds. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (rabies if specified), and micro-chipped. All pets are provided with a
personalized tag and collar. We are placing what we believe to be a healthy pet. If the situation proves to be otherwise, we will assist with the health care, provided through our own veterinarian,
for the first 30 days after adoption, and ONLY for a condition that the animal
had already contracted before he/she left our facility. If the adoption does not work out for any reason, we ask that the animal be returned ONLY to Pet Adoption Fund. Our adoptions are subject to approval, adoption fee (varies with breed-age-size), and a home-check. Pet Adoption Fund is a non-profit organization, with a 501 (c) status. We rely solely on donations. Your generosity is what keeps us alive, and able to rescue and care for many abused and abandoned dogs and cats. In most cases, extensive medical treatments are required in addition to the routine spay-neuter, vet care, grooming & training expenses. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Thank you so much for your contributions. We are an all volunteer organization and welcome your participation in several rewarding activities, such as: We are also in need of newspapers, blankets & comforters, rugs, bed linens, towels, cat and dog toys, beds and baskets of any size, cat towers, dog houses, steel food bowls, brushes and combs, dog and cat food (cans.) All donations are greatly appreciated and help enhance kennel living while our pets are awaiting for their second chances. Thank you so much for your contributions. We are in need of experienced volunteers who will foster kittens, puppies or senior pets.
