Our Mission Statement...

Persians and Friends Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, placement and lifetime care of abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted Purebred and exotic cat breeds. Persians and Friends Rescue accepts cats from owners, animal control facilities and other rescue groups. Persians and Friends Rescue does NOT buy animals from breeders to save their life.

Our Humble Beginings...

Persians and Friends Rescue has grown out of a labor of love for all cats, but especially the purebred ones. Our very first family cat was a Persian named Snickers who gave 20 amazing years of love, companionship, and experience. After dedicating several thankless years of intense rescue work to another group, the group 'founder' and I had a falling out in late 2004. The 'Wham, Bam, Thank You M'aam' experience taught me alot, thus Persians and Friends Rescue was born. Since our inception, our rescue work has concentrated on rescuing purebred and exotic cat breeds. We have said 'bye bye' to unnecessary stress, ridiculous drama, and unending financial hardship. Its like the weight of the world has been lifted off our backs!

Donations Always Welcome!...

Our 'Long timers'

Please consider adopting one of our 'long timers'. These pets have been available for adoption more than 1 year, some over 2 years! Although we love them dearly, and will continue to care for them until the end of their stay here, they too need a home.

Owner Surrendered Animals...

PAF Rescue accepts purebred cats from owners. Cats are accepted on an 'as space permits' basis. Pet owners will be asked to sign pertinent paperwork, provide veterinary records and may be required to provide a donation to help offset the costs associated with the unwanted pet's care. PAF Rescue accepts purebred cats. Contact us to discuss surrendering your cat.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT FERAL CATS OR STRAY ANIMALS. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL CONTROL DEPARTMENT FOR ASSISTANCE.

Volunteers Always Welcome!

PAF Rescue is always seeking volunteers. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. From adoption event help to drivers for shelter pick ups, we can always use a hand or two. Contact us if you would like to lend a hand.
