Riley is an amazing boy looks like a doll faced Persian but to big to be just Persian the breeder he was dumped by has also bred Maine Coons so we are pretty sure he is part Persian and part Maine Coon. He is a super sweet boy loves attention and will lay on his back to stop you from walking by to get some attention. He will lay there to get you to pet his belly and give him so love. He is good with other cats but afraid of kids we have tested him. He is a kind loving cat who just needs a chance to open up. He came from a breeder dump due to the breeder not taking care of the kitties they were covered in fleas and not good body weight at all and NONE were fixed. He is now well, clean and fixed and in great shape due to our vet and our foster! So please consider him for your next family member but only if no kids or super loud homes.

Who We Are
We are a small rescue located in Columbus Ohio and surrounding area. Our cats come primarily from shelters and are then vetted and put into foster homes until they are placed in a forever homes. We take in cats who are at risk of being killed. Then put them into rescue where they are safe and are at NO risk to be put to sleep. They are in homes being fostered and then we work to get them adopted in homes to be loved and taken care of by their adoptive family for the remainder of their lives. We take adoptions very seriously. We are not a 501c3 at this time, but do hope to gain this status in the future. We are always taking donations to help pay vet bills and buy food for the cats in foster. We do not have the 501c3 status so we can NOT give a tax deductible receipt for any donations. Adopting a friend
STEPS WE FOLLOW TO ADOPT: We have an adoption application we require to be filled out and emailed or faxed for consideration to adopt a cat. It can be received by emailing us at ccrescue614@yahoo.com with request for an application in the subject line please. We then review the application and check references, after review and verification of information we do a phone interview. Following all information being shared and discussed in the application or in a phone interview a home visit is scheduled. After all these steps are finished an appointment to meet the cat is set up. All cats are in foster homes and an appointment must be set to meet all cats. All applicants must be screened before an appointment can be set no exception. Once all steps are finalized to adopt we require adopters to pick up the cat(s)/kitten(s) in the location they are fostered and adopters must bring their own carriers to transport cats safely home.

We are looking to for volunteers to help with fundraisers, transporter pets from out of town shelters to our vet, and other areas. We also ALWAYS need fosters they are the backbone of this rescue and we really need more to help save more cats in the future.
