Perry County Humane Society Linden, TN.
The Perry County Humane Society does not have an animal shelter but we collaborate with the Town of Linden Animal Control Shelter. We do NOT receive any funding from the Town of Linden or Perry County Government. We depend on contributions from the public for operating expenses. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers that work with the abandoned, neglected and abused animals from the Linden Animal Shelter. The Town of Linden provides necessary food. water and shelter for the animals. We work with the animals and actively promote adoption through various avenues. We also provide vaccines, worm medications, flea/tick treatments, and any other medical treatments needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We need assistance with shelter upkeep.  Also, the dogs need social interaction on a daily basis. 	ADOPTING A FRIEND
	DOWNLOAD YOUR APPLICATION HERE If you have been approved to adopt one of our pets, you can pay the adoption fee here: The cost of adoption is $60.  This includes spaying/neutering and all shots up to date. There is an additiponal charge of $25.00 if the dog has been heartworm tested.  To adopt a dog, you can come to the shelter and fill out an application, request an application by email or click the link above and email the completed application..  When approved, the dog will be taken to be spayed/neutered.  Dogs have surgery on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. After surgery you can pick up your new friend directly from the Dr. Scott's office or you can wait for him//her to be brought back to the shelter and pick him/her up there.    The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  It is closed for lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  We ask that you call before you go to the shelter, as the shelter supervisor may be out picking up dogs.  If you are unable to get to the shelter during the week, you can call 931-589-5352  to arrange a time to meet at the shelter during weekend hours.  If you have any questions, please contact the Perry County Humane Society at 931-589-5352 or E-mail us at perryhumane@gmail.com.
