We Need Your Help
We need more temporary foster homes and Peke transport assistance, and help pulling dogs from shelters. With more volunteers we can help more Pekes! If you would be willing to check out the Pekes in the shelters near where you live and help bail and transport, please let us know. No previous experience is needed; just a warm heart!
Who We Are
Anna's Pekingese Rescue serves southern California. We rescue, care for, foster, and place homeless Pekingese dogs. We will also take Owner Surrenders. We know that situations can change and you will want your pet or the pet of a loved one to be placed in the best possible home. Don't take them to a shelter or just give them away to a stranger; let us help. We screen all applicants and even do home checks to be sure everything is OK.
Adopting A Friend
If you want to adopt a dog from us you will be asked to complete an application and be interviewed by one of us. You will have to come an visit with the dogs so they can make their selection (we will not ship).
We will adopt out of state, but you must come and pick up the dog. There is a $100.00 to $300.00 adoption donation for each dog and you will be asked to complete an adoption contract and a home check.
