"PAWS" is again teaming up with SNAP and HOKAFI to sponsor SPAY NEUTER EXPRESS CLINICS IN 2009. Volunteers are also needed to register persons attending these clinics and it's a great opportunity to volunteer for PAWS. Did you know you can help PAWS Save Lives by Saving Purina Weight Circles? PAWS redeems the weight circles and receives various rewards including checks we use for veterinary services. "PAWS" is seeking volunteers: Volunteers needed on an on-going basis in the Lebanon, Lancaster, Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg areas. Duties involve caring for cats with a time committment of 2 hours (or more if desired) per week. Training will be provided. Please email pawsofpa@aol.com for details. The PAWS spay/neuter program involves working from your home to return phone calls, schedule appointments and complete paperwork.
"PAWS" is continually searching for farms or horse barns to place feral (wild) barn cats. The cats are already spayed/neutered, have vaccinations, and are tested for leukemia/FIV. Please help if you are able as these cats are currently surviving in dangerous situations. The adoption fee is waived provided you are willing to provide care(food, water, shelter) for the cats.
