Come to Our 75th Anniversary Gala!
Celebrate 75 years with us!
PAHS has been in operation since 1933, and we thought we would share our celebration with our favorite people, our supporters!
You are invited to the Martinsville Inn on October 17th at 7:00 pm
for dining and dancing to the music of the Exit 135 Band.
Price is $100 per seat, or $175 per couple. RSVP by September 15th.
If you cannot attend but would like to contribute, your names will be listed in the Gala Program as Sponsor for $25, Friend for $50, and Donor for $100. If you haven't received your invitation, you can download and print the RSVP card here, and send it with your check to the shelter marked "Gala".
Directions to the Gala can be found at the Martinsville Inn website. Details will be added as they become available, so check back often.

Kruise For Kennels Motorcycle Run!
Sunday, September 28th!
Ride with us through some of New Jersey's best and scenic roads. Cruisers, standards, sportbikes, scooters... all bikes are welcome! Registration starts at 9:00 in the shelter parking lot, and ride starts at 10:00. Maps will be available, as well as coffee and snacks.
Ride ends at Dawn Patrol Clubhouse in Bridgewater located at 106 Robert Street. Bike registration costs $25 for one rider, and $35 for two.
Don't ride? Join us at 2:00 at our finish destination for the party after... food, beverages and live music by
Jimmy Newcomb and The Memphis 3 for just $20.

The Great Dog Wash Revisited!
Saturday, September 20th!
Our first Dog Wash was very successful, but there were quite a few who didn't make it and asked if we'd do it again. So, we will be back at it, sponge in hand (and nail clippers!) from 10 til 2 on Saturday Sept. 20th. Little dogs and big, furry, fuzzy and not so much, all get the same spa treatment. $10 for the wee dogs, $15 for the BIG ones, and $10 for clipping nails.
Our Kennel Makeover will happen...
but only with your help!
We're about 80% there. Thanks to several recent large donations, we've begun planning our renovation in anticipation that the rest of the money will come. That's where you come in.
We need your donations to break ground. We are approximately $25,000 away from our goal. We plan to have the kennels done before the fall, and there's alot of work to do.
If you would like to contribute, please send your donation "Attention: Kennel Fund". Please help us with this most needed upgrade. The dogs will love you for it!

Adoption Information
There is always a selection of animals available for adoption. Potential adopters are required to fill out applications which may take up to one week to process.
Cats are spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, have their distemper and rabies vaccinations and are microchipped. Kittens are now altered as early as 8 weeks.
All cats and kittens - $150
Dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, have their distemper, parvo and rabies vaccinations and are microchipped. Puppies are now altered as early as 8 weeks.

PAHS provides adoption
counseling to potential adopters to fit you with the pet that will best suit your lifestyle.
PAHS provides obedience and behavior counseling for hard to handle pets. At home visitations are available by appointment if necessary.
